Photos of my various reptiles: chuckwalla, California desert tortoise, bearded dragons and yellow ackies (spiny tailed monitors). One of my rooms has been turned into the animal room. I have a number of enclosures, as well: various tanks, pvc cages (Showcase and Vision) plus a large Critter Condoz.

Check out the individual pictures for more information. Things change too much to edit it all here!

The new ackie cage! From Critter Condoz and built to our specs. 72"x30"x30" with a 12" litter dam. 3/4" plywood with a PVC laminated layer on the inside. All seams heat-sealed. Twin incandescent fixtures 18" from left with a twin tube T8 fixture running down the center. Dual sliding tempered glass doors. Four 2" vents in the back near the top.
Female beardies. From left to right: Dany, Arya, Sansa. The cage is a Showcase 3x2x2. Lighting is provided by a ZooMed mini dual bulb running a 25W Repti10 CFL and a 50w halogen for basking. Further lighting is a Repti10 36" T8 fixture at the very front of the cage which probably provides absolutely no UV.
Ackies in new digs on the retes stack.
Fran checking out the stack. Substrate is 12" of sandy loam top soil.
Sauron our chuckwalla. Believed to be a male, but we've never really checked. As I don't plan on breeding them, it doesn't matter! He's Chuck to us.
Thanks Dad!

Gotta be one of my favorite pics of any reptile and my favorite of him!
Showcase 3x2x2 with female beardies. Above is a dual dome light with a 26w Rep10 UV bulb and a 50w basking spot. Basking temps average 100-105. Ambient temps are around 70-80 dependent on room conditions.
Top of the new Critter Condoz ackie cage. One 50w basking light installed to show the twin-tube T8 fixture and vents.
Same deal - different direction. With many thanks to Varanus (from the varanus.net forums), the vents are now sealed, holding in the humidity much better. With thanks to FR from the same forums, only 1 T8 bulb, the UV Repti10, is still running in the tube.
